Welcome to Kepler. These Terms of Service (Terms) explain the rules for using Kepler's autonomous development platform. By creating an account or using Kepler, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our service.
1. The Service
Kepler is an autonomous AI development platform that executes software development tasks based on your instructions. When you submit a development task, our AI agents analyze your codebase, make changes, and return working code. Key things to know:
- Kepler processes code you provide to execute the tasks you request
- We aim to deliver working, verified code but cannot guarantee every task will succeed
- The service includes a free tier with limited usage and paid tiers for higher volume
- We may modify features, pricing, or limits with notice
2. Acceptable Use
You agree to use Kepler only for lawful purposes. You will NOT:
- Submit illegal content or requests that violate copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property rights
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other users accounts
- Use the service to generate malware, exploits, or harmful code
- Submit tasks intended to disrupt, damage, or gain unauthorized access to third-party systems
- Resell or redistribute the service without authorization
3. Your Account
You are responsible for:
- Keeping your account credentials secure
- All activity under your account
- Providing accurate account information
- Complying with these terms and any additional team policies
4. Intellectual Property
You own your code. When you submit code to Kepler, you retain full ownership of your intellectual property. We do not claim any rights to your code or the outputs generated from your tasks.
We may use anonymized, aggregated data from all users to improve our AI models, but this data cannot be used to identify you or your code.
5. Billing and Payment
Paid tiers are billed monthly. Key billing terms:
- Charges are based on the tier you select (Free, Pro, Enterprise)
- Payment is due at the start of each billing cycle
- Unpaid accounts may be suspended after 7 days
- Cancel anytime; you keep access until the end of your paid period
- Refunds are handled case-by-case for billing issues
6. Termination
Either party may terminate:
- You: Delete your account anytime from account settings
- Us: We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, fail to pay, or for business reasons with 30 days notice
Upon termination, you may export your data. We retain certain data as required by law and our privacy practices.
7. Liability Limits
KEPLER IS PROVIDED AS-IS. WE MAKE NO WARRANTIES EXPRESS OR IMPLIED.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT ALLOWED BY LAW:
- KEPLER WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES
- OUR TOTAL LIABILITY IS LIMITED TO THE AMOUNT YOU PAID IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM
- WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR THIRD-PARTY SERVICES, CODE LOSS, OR DATA LOSS
8. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Telangana, India, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Hyderabad, Telangana.
9. Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms periodically. For material changes, we will post a notice on our site and update the Last Updated date. Your continued use after changes means you accept the new terms.
